Is this a Puppy love or Puppies' love.????

Most of us argue that childhood love is nothing but an infatuation that happens at least once in everybody's life. Is it honest to compare a puppy love with infatuation? Infatuation comes in the adolescent age and concerns mainly about the physical structure of the body where as the first one has its own divinity and likeliness for our loved ones. It is still hard to make it clear and so I am leaving this for your discussion. Let me start off with my story.

The worst part of our lives is to control the greatest emotional moment which we could not know how to express. And which makes it even worse is that, we still not able to describe it. I am one of the fortunate few who had enjoyed all the benefits of a middle class family during my childhood. I was given a complete freedom to choose my own way of life that concerns either studies or any other important decisions of my life.

The only decision made by my parents was my schooling and I was quite sure that the school life had given me a lot of sweet memories. I was put into a Christian Missionary School well before my KGs and this particular incident happened when I was in my fifth grade. It was the period, where we hardly cared for anything. It was the time; we might not know what makes the difference between a boy and a girl.

We were a group of five friends who appeared to be so close. Of course, we were so close but for one issue. It was a girl who belonged to the same class. These fellas had never shown each other that they had a secret crush for that girl. One guy boldly expressed his will towards that girl with all his fellow mates and asked them for a nice idea to attract that girl. The discussion went on with various innovative ideas and suggestions and finally they had no other go than inspiring an old movie. Accidentally it was a Friday and these guys had never missed their own "Jungle Book". All the guys assembled exactly at half past five in one of their friends' place to watch their favorite tele series. That episode happened to be a well-timed one, when the hero of the story "Mowgli" came to know that he was an orphan and it was the main reason why all his friends had so much affection on him.

Wow.. Our naughties looked each other delightfully as they have got the best idea to attract that girl. The guy who expressed his will was so confident that he could woo her the next day. He went on so early and was trying to talk to her from morning. But he could make it only in the afternoon. Somehow he managed to convey that he was an orphan and his then parents were not his real parents. He also added that his parents just adopted him from an orphanage. The moment the girl heard of this, she started screaming out of fear. He had no clues for what she was crying. When the teachers enquired about this, she had narrated everything that happened.

The guy realized he was in his final stand. He was completely ashamed to face his teachers and fellow students. He was then taken to the office room and he was totally scared to face his parents too. Once he entered the office room, he was stormed out to see his associates standing in front of the principal for the same issue.

At least by then, he came to know the mystery behind her screaming.

Now tell me. Is this a puppy love or puppies' love.????!!!!!!!

My recent experience with a Scammer... Not a funny one...

Hi folks. This time I have an interesting affair which has to be shared with you. And I am sure this information would be useful for all the students/employees who have their plans of moving abroad and/or switching their residence from one place to another.

I am a Graduate student living in the southern part of Sweden who recently got an admission in one of the well-known universities of the country that is situated in the capital city. Acquiring an appropriate apartment in this kind of metropolises is really a tough task than gaining a seat in that prestigious university. I started looking for an apartment after I got my place confirmed for the course. A childhood friend of mine who had also applied for a course in the same university got his admission confirmed and was processing his visa from my home country. So, I got a partner for this hunt and was in a situation that I had to look out for a room where I could accommodate my friend too. Everything started here.

After a series of discussion with my senior students, I had registered myself in all the student housing websites and started searching for an apartment. Most of the websites require our e-mail addresses and phone numbers for various security reasons. But the fact is that, they are not providing any protection to the tenants' contact details. The information given to most of the online housing companies remains open to all. Since I was not aware of all these stuffs, I had given my e-mail, phone number along with my mailing address.

Couple of days later, I got a mail that talked about a fully furnished apartment situated at the centre of the city especially for students. The sender was Leyla Pursharifi, a 25 year old girl working as a wedding planner who flies all over the Europe quite often. She introduced herself in her very first mail like this: “I am in London now, planning a wedding ceremony. I am an easy going lady, I am 25 Years. I am Single. I like meeting people, I like traveling. My profession is Wedding Planner under Event Manager. Feel free to ask me any question if you have got any. I like to know more about you too”. She had also asked me if I was really interested in that apartment. I had replied the next day with minimal information about me and raised a bunch of queries to know more about her. I got a reply within an hour with all my queries answered elaborately. She had gone a step ahead and given me her hotmail id “minemine4youall@hotmail.com” and asked me to add her in my friends’ list so that it would be easy to discuss more about the apartment and other stuffs.

In the mean time, I had a chat with my friend who was processing his visa and he gave me a clue that another friend of him got a similar mail from a lady who gave similar details about her except the name. This time the room was in another city and the girl was Angelique Fragniere. A glint of suspicion made me decide to be very careful with that lady. I had used my Gmail address for all the registrations done on the websites and I was not sure about what she had done. Suddenly she appeared in my Google talk friends’ list without any invite. Later I came to know that there is a security setting through which the sender can add us to their friends’ list without any formal request or invite. Her Gmail address is “leylanijo@googlemail.com”. She initiated the chat and was sharing her personal information which made me even more alert. All of a sudden, she asked me to transfer one month’s rent to her account as a security deposit which would help me reserve my stand for that apartment. The moment she started emphasizing about money, my doubts were asserted and I entered her email addresses in Google Search Engine simultaneously. It came up with quite a lot of suggestions. The first one was a blog about International Scammers which had a huge list of scammers around the globe and it was obvious our beloved Leyla Pursharifi was also a part of it.

Now the real funny part…
I was then sure that it was the scammer chatting and I had no idea but calling 112 which usually connects to the nearest emergency centre. My call was connected successfully and a lady was responding at the other end. As Swedish people are not very good at English, it was a real fun talking to her. I informed her that I was caught into an internet scam and the scammer was chatting with me. Her immediate reaction was “Tell me your address. Ambulance is on your way”. I somehow managed to explain everything to her and asked her how I should be proceeding further. She listened carefully and this was her next reply, “You did not give your address yet”. Then what to do.. I had given my best buddy’s address and disconnected the call.

Later deleted all traces of Leyla from my Google and Hotmail account and ensured all the security settings are properly saved.

You can find the list of international scammers in the following blogs.

Movies I admired - Part 1

Rain Man - The ultimate pinnacle of Humanity.

The real Rain Man - KIM PEEK

This movie was inspired by a real life savant KIM PEEK, who lives in Salt Lake city, USA. He is one of the most famous savants till date. The unique nature of Kim Peek is his eidetic memory power. Doctors call it as Photographic memory to make it easy to understand. He was born with Macrocephaly (Relatively large head than the normal people) that damaged his cerebellum. This restricts Kim from thinking and questioning.

Despite his mental disablities, he started improving his memory power by memorizing things from the earlier age of 16-20 months. An interesting information about Kim is that he still practices the habit of placing the books upside down once he had finished reading. He had completed almost 8,000 books and can recall them at any point of time. He usually takes an hour or slightly more to complete a book and remembers everything that he has read. His areas of interest are quite vast that cover history and literature, geography, sports, music and he is more prominent with dates. He does remember all the important dates in history.

Researches done on his brain:
Almost all the major neuro-scientists around the globe have investigated his brain and all the top level universities have done a study on Kim's brain. The most defining moment in Kim's life is when NASA entered into the picture and investigated on his brain in 2004. For information about NASA investigation, click here

Do you really think it is possible to cast away this life into the film roll...??? Yes.. They did it and made it a big success a couple of decennaries ago. It couldn't be big than how it was then..

I personally want to thank and appreciate the story writer Mr. Barry Morrow, the screenplay writer Mr. Ronald Bass and the director of the movie Mr. Barry Levinson for their tremendous effort of making a biography without any exaggeration and cinematic elements. It is always a tough task to make a biography with all the creative content not dominating the course of the movie. It is a movie which we should treasure for our life time, instead most of us have never heard of it even now. It is one of the movies which I admired the most. It made me feel so glad for being a human and most of all, it taught me what HUMANITY means and where it stands?? Each time I watch the movie, I am completely floored by the way they carry the role.

I wonder how they have taken a movie with only three characters roaming all over the movie. They are Raymond Babbit played by legendary actor Dustin Hoffman, Charlie Babbit played by still young Tom Cruise, and the female lead Susanna played by Valeria Golino. They also did justify their stand with their extra-ordinary acting skills. The lead role played by Dustin Hoffman is par excellence. He played as an autistic savant who was institutionalized. His vacant stare, monotone voice and the screaming makes the movie more special.

The charming younger brother played by Tom was equally good. He perfectly matched that flashy, egoistical, hotheaded sibling who undergoes such a subtle change that its almost not visible until it draws close to the end. Susanna even then with a less scope impresses with her prominent acting. Overall its a pleasure watching the movie. It has three great scenes that evidences what this movie deserves.?? The airport screaming, the hotel scene where he spits off a lady's telephone no and finally the most defining scene in the movie is that when Raymond expresses his love for his brother for the first time like this "My main man Charlie".

I admire this movie for its wonderful narration and especially Hoffman's acting. I highly recommend this movie for all the viewers reading this blog and I am sure you will feel the same and share it with your friends. Before watching the movie, I urge you to watch the documentary made on our real Rain Man "KIM PEEK". This gives you the oppurtunity to evaluate how Hoffman portrayed the character on screen.

World T20 Champs - A long wait for Pakistan..

The team which proved its mettle to the International Cricket Arena pretty long back in all formats of the game say Test Cricket, One day International and the latest sensation Twenty20. It is one of the major teams with allround qualities from top to bottom of the order. But at the same time, its the only team with numerous controversies. Most of the world talents are eaten by the controversies in the course of time and Pakistan Cricket team is the best stood example according to their past records.

Controversies are always comfortable unless and until it does not deplete your on ground performance and the off screen image.

Most of us might not have forgot about "The Oval Fiasco" in August 2006 ,which is still considered to be one of the biggest controversies in Cricket history. Pakistan Cricket team had walked over in the middle of the game against England when the onfield umpire Darrell Hair awarded five runs to England on pretext of shamming the condition of the ball. He further offered England to opt for a new ball. Following this happened the huge drama, which the cricket history had ever seen. Pakistan Cricket Team protested against the decision and refused to continue with the game after the drinks' break. Later Hair was proven wrong and sacked from ICC's elite panel.

You can find the complete story in the video:

Then the most famous "Ball Tampering saga" that shooked Pakistan Cricket vigorously. The first time it happened during their 1992 England tour where Wasim and Waqar thrashed England to finish the series by 2-1.

The same thing happened with Waqar Younis who faced one match ban when the match refree John Reid found him guilty in the match against South Africa in 2000 for tampering the ball.

The last one who had caught for the same issue was Shoaib Akhtar and he was left with a warning in the match against Zimbabwe in 2002.

Now the most recent was that the Doping controversy that threw off their most consistent bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif from International Cricket as they failed the doping test before the Champions Trophy. Initially, PCB decided a two year ban for Shoaib and a year for Asif, but later after a lot of criticism from their own senior players, it ended up with a life time ban.

Whenever i think about team Pakistan which well deserves to be on the top of all the ranking tables, onething strikes me out which is the controversies revolving around the team. There is a famous saying by Martin Luther King the Junior, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands during the moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy". Some of the quotes have been well matched erstwhile, whereas only a handsome can be matched even to this contemporary world. No one can give such a prominent quote about controversies other than Martin, who has been into the world of controversies quite a long time. Later thrown all the controversies into the bin after being awarded "The Nobel Prize" in 1964 for his remarkable contributions towards the eradication of racial discrimination in the US. Finally he proved how he influenzed The US history by eradicating racial segregation and discrimination.

Likewise, the time had come for the Pakistan Cricket Board to prove their stand once again to all the Cricketing Nations and they well explored their talents n proved it after a long time. Their last win in any tournament was in the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka in 2000 and their last win in any Champoinship Series was over England in the 1992 World cup Final that was led by injured Imran Khan. They lost 4 of their first 5 matches and almost was out of the Competition. Thereafter they started their winning streak which led them to the most famous win against the hosts New Zealand.

Before the commencement of the recent ICC World Twenty20 tournament, they were one of the weakest sides who were mentally affected after the attack on the Sri Lankan team earlier this year. The Pakistan team was cornered from the international domain after this incident and almost all the players were denied to appear in the recent IPL edition.

This is the only test playing team in which none of the players have appeared in the IPL edition(with the exception of Abdul Razzaq who appeared in the ICL). And the most important news is that they played only one test match over the last one and a half year time.

It nearly took 17 years for this intelligible team to prove themselves and that too after a major disaster in their Cricketing History. They finally proved their stand to all the test playing nations for what they are capable of and they have got their spot in the International arena once again and its not just a win to cherish rather its all about mixed feelings and emotions. I think this would be the best time to congratulate the team Pakistan and hope them keep up the current momentum and the clock ticking on.

MY HEARTFUL CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM PAKISTAN. ROCK ONNNNN...
